PS2 Portable – Custom Order Down-payment (Will discuss design via email)

Haha, I don’t assume anybody would want anything customized as is shown in the photos, but I hope that gives you any idea of some of the crazy designs I found just searching on Google.

Send me a photo you found or 3D design files, and I’ll tell you if we can make it happen.  I love this part of modding and I hope we can find some creative custom builds.  You want LED lights added? Let’s do it! You want your portable in the shape of Pikachu?  Well sure, why not!?

Design-wise, the possibilities are endless. With that being said, we do not offer the following options at this time:

1. Controller ports (but we do offer Bluetooth for PS3/PS4 controllers!)
2. Video out for smaller units (we will offer video out for 8 inch displays though since there is more room)
3. Disc Drives: Because of size and power limitations (USB drives work way better anyway)

We will of course allow the usual peripherals such as a headphone jack, BT, customizable buttons and joysticks, etc.  Please assume any additional peripheral is not available at this time.

I have multiple builders that I partner with in both China and the USA (they build the same units FYI). Please allow up to 50 days for product to be built, tested, and shipped. Seller will notify buyer if there are any delays in production times, but we should know in advance since most consoles just need to be tested and shipped.

FAQ:
1. Do you add games?
Answer: No, but I do provide detailed instructions. I believe the user should learn how to do it if they are going to make such an investment.

2. Does it play PS1 games?
Answer: yes, but about 90% of games work

3. Does it play psp, wii, gamecube, etc…
Answer: The system can do light emulation such as NES, but nothing beyond that.

4. Can you mod a ps3
Answer: Not currently and is unlikely to be done in the near future, but alas, you never know.

5. How long does the battery last?
Answer: approx 3 hours

6. Why is it so expensive?
Answer: every console is taken apart, slimmed down, and soldered together by hand. This takes time, and the parts themselves are not cheap. Shipping and Etsy fees are also very substantial as well. I will ignore requests to lower price.

7. Can it play discs?
Answer: No. Because disc drives consume so much power and because it requires a substantial amount of room, we do not offer disc drives with mods. Games play really well off of a usb drive and the pros outweigh the cons when comparing.
